Maverick Kentucky congressman has avoided fallout at home after antagonizing GOP leaders
Republican Rep. Thomas Massie has made a habit of antagonizing Washington's most powerful leaders in his own party, but so far it hasn't eroded his support back home in his staunchly conservative Kentucky district. Four years ago, Massie drew the wrath of then-President Donald Trump when the congressman singlehandedly caused a delay in passing a massive COVID-19 relief package. Trump called the Kentuckian a “third rate Grandstander" for his stalling tactic.

Newly minted Michelin-starred chef Arturo Rivera Martínez stood over an insanely hot grill Wednesday at the first Mexican taco stand ever to get a coveted star from the French dining guide, and did exactly the same thing he's been doing for 20 years: searing meat. At Mexico City’s Tacos El Califa de León, in the scruffy-bohemian San Rafael neighborhood, there are only four things on the menu, all tacos, and all of which came from some area around a cow’s rib, loin or fore shank.

Biden hikes tariffs on Chinese EVs, solar cells, steel, aluminum — and snipes at Trump
President Joe Biden slapped major new tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, advanced batteries, solar cells, steel, aluminum and medical equipment on Tuesday, taking potshots at Donald Trump along the way as he embraced a strategy that's increasing friction between the world's two largest economies. The Democratic president said that Chinese government subsidies ensure the nation's companies don’t have to turn a profit, giving them an unfair advantage in global trade. “American workers can out
